Because the old school never gets old!

I love the old Spyro games! I've played the first one for the Playstation 1 and loved it. I would play so much that my cd would get scratched up. My Playstation's cd reader thing couldn't read the cd anymore. And the open/close button for the cover-thing-a-ma-jig broke. And THEN I lost the cables to plug to the tv......yea....good times.......good times....

I still own the original cd. After years of it gathering dust, I recently found a Playstation emulator for the PC.....and I still play that game.

In my opinion, the old Spyro is better than the new Skylanders crap (no offense to anyone..). I really miss his old look and classic gameplay. I do like The Legend of Spyro series, his look disturbs me ,but the gameplay and story line is pretty good. Then here comes Skylanders and there goes my childhood........
But whatever, man. I'll still keep playing the oldies no matter how outdated and old they may be!!
